I don't know how many stars to rate this. On one hand I could not stop reading. I love these type of second chance stories. I was never bored while reading this. I love the angst and how Emma was leery of Gabriel. Then things took a turn and it was crazy, but I did not mind it.However here are my issues and why I was just a little irritated, Major spoilers. Do not read if you do not know what happens towards the end.

I hated that Gabriel told Emma he had something to take care of that Sunday that they had planned together only that that "something" was taking care of Embry who told Gabriel she took a bunch of pills. Embry lied just so that Gabriel would stay the night with her. There is no cheating. It is clear that Gabriel loves Emma. However, I think he knew at this point what a snake Embry was and why he believed her, I do not know. Was it because he was her Dom and she was his sub? All the lies he told Emma bothered me. Part of me understands that Gabriel lied so that Emma would not know that he was a Dom and he was into BDSM, which would scare her off but then he seemed so angry that he had to act "perfect" because that is what she wanted.I enjoyed reading this book, but I am not sure if Gabriel could ever be completely honest with Emma.

It was an OKAY read. There is only one sex scene in this little story ladies. So what if he likes to tie up and have mad sex!!!! I liked how Emma didnt back down from that tramp submissive. I loved the way he was fun and light hearted in the beginning but I was confused when he said it was all fake and then a while later told Emma it was all real. This story didn't have enough to be mad or glad which is probably going to lead me NOT to buy the second book. You never know bc sometimes the second book is WAY better bc story gets going GOOD!!!
JUST WOW, I can't wait for the next book....."Bad for you" is coming out sometime this fall. OMG, this is sooooo GOOD. Emma and Gabriel....get this book and hold on tight, you will read till you finish. Another "Fifty Shades of Grey". MAYBE BETTER. And, the ending is so hot I had to take a very cold shower. Congrats, Anna Antonia, what marvelous writing.....thank you for the privilege. A+, 10 star rating.
Gabe and Emma are from two opposite finacial status. Emma grew up with a mother that cleaned houses, while Gabe secrectly endured a violent childhood, encased with all the riches he could want. They both went to the same high school and secretly crushed on each other. Although they come from different economic worlds, they are drawn to each other like magnets. On one hand the magnets are connected and then they flip and repel each other. It is an intense, emotion packed romance. This was a rich boy/middle class girl trying to figure out how to live in each worlds.
Gabe is for sure trying harder to forge this relationship, but he has the darker past. I don't want to spoil the book, but part of me wished it didn't take this shocking direction. I will read the next book, because I want to know how these two pan out.
I loved the way they bantered, her internal dialogue, the chemistry between them, the arrogance/confidence of Gabriel, the determination to succeed of Emma...everything went so well in this book, until the end. I was already checking back on , while still in the first few chapters of the book, the info on the sequel. That's a sure sign of me liking a book a great deal. However...the way this book ended made me put the brakes on buying the sequel. I just thought Emma made a too drastic turn around in a very short time (one afternoon?) on how she feels about G's secret. Some reviewers mentioned that this book reminded them of 50 shades. Yup, I agree.
If you read this as a stand-alone book, it's pretty good. I'd like to check out this author's future books. However, based on what other reviewers have said about the sequel to Mad for You, sadly I will not be buying that. But, decide for yourself.
This was a really good book that I didn't think I would like, but I did. Gabriel Gordon is a spoiled rich alpha male who is who gets wants he wants and he wants Emma Adams. They went to high school together and he was the same way, and he drives Emma crazy. The book also goes into the past that these two have. They went had sex at prom and it was the best night of her life for a virgin. She dumps him, because she's not sticking around waiting for him to change. This was my first time reading this author and although at times the book was slow I still liked it. At times he acted like a stalker moving next door to her and copying her key I thought that was insane. There was a lot of talking in this book, but overall it was good for a first book in a new series to me. I felt that she should have told her the truth he is a dominant. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
I loved this book the characters in this book was well written can't wait for the second book in this series.
Gabriel is my new book alpha male boyfriend. At the start of the book you see the sweet funny caring guy that you just swoon for and then when you get more into it his real self starts to show but it doesn't change your view on him it just makes him hotter. I laughed a few times out loud with the witty dialog between the two that my husband had to keep asking me what's so funny and " SHHH your going to wake up Shayla"
Sometimes i wanted to slap Emma she was annoying me with how she keep thinking all these things but at the same time i loved that she didn't take anything laying down she said what she thought.
There is sooo much i could say about this book that i like but i think that you need to read it for yourself. It was it worth it trust
